MARKET SEGMENT MANAGER – AEROSPACE & DEFENSE
(REMOTELY BASED)
OVERVIEW
For decades, design engineers have relied on the Company’s advanced materials to enable commercial aircraft and aerospace and defense systems, even in the harshest conditions. Today, their high reliability, high performance solutions can be found in most of the world’s commercial and military aircraft. Design Engineers look to the Company for high frequency circuit materials for radar and navigation systems, ceramic substrates and laminated busbars that improve performance and dissipate heat, and gasketing solutions for extreme sealing and protection. The Company has an immediate need for an experienced, knowledgeable Market Segment Manager for their Aerospace & Defense Segment!
This role is integral in the success of the organization’s Defense and Aerospace market segment. This individual will utilize their extensive industry knowledge to enhance business growth in the Defense and Aerospace segment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Define/execute market strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability

Conduct market research/analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape

Utilize deep understanding of customer personas, pain points, and buying behaviors to guide segment specific message and positioning

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Product Development, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful execution of segment strategies

Establish/maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry leaders, and partners

Analyze/report on segment performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed
REQUIREMENTS

BS in Engineering or an MBA in Marketing. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

Demonstrated commercial success in the Defense/Aerospace industry (must have experience with DOD primes/sub-primes)

8+ years of market segment management, business development, product management or technical sales experience (electronics)

Working knowledge of defense programs and opportunities. ITAR experience
