To work as part of a team in creating significant sales opportunities on a long-term basis (profitable growth) for multiple Company entities and their upstream/downstream customers. To increase sales of glass specifically in the SOUTHEAST FLORIDA area.  To generate definite specifications with Architects and other stakeholders enabling Company through its network of customers to increase sales in Architectural projects, coated glass, OEM and other float glass sales. Fluency in English & Spanish required.



  • Implement strategy to develop architects/consultants/contractors located mainly in the Southeast Florida

  • Develop strong relationship with current/potential certified processors in the Southeast Florida to develop the market opportunities for coated products sales

  • Maintain/develop relationship with customers in light commercial glass market  

  • Maintain/grow customer base for other flat glass sales in Southeast Florida(mirror/float/pattern/acid etched)

  • Maintain customer pricing database and react quickly to price requests

  • Maintain a designated customer/prospect database in Sales Force and coordinate activities with Regional Sales Managers in the US and also the International Company Manager (where appropriate)

  • Generate budgeting/forecasting files by customer and understand variations to actual data

  • Attend training activities/seminars and industry events to develop relevant knowledge, network contacts and skills

  • Carry out market research, competitor analysis and customer surveys



  • BS In Sales, Marketing, or Business, 5+ years’ relevant Sales industry experience

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required

  • Knowledge of architecture / glass applications in construction

  • Technical understanding of glass/glazing materials, their properties and functions

  • Ability to work independent of supervision but as part of a remote team

  • Good administration/presentation skills using current technologies/software programs (Microsoft/PC based and iPad apps). Proficiency with Sales Force

  • Cultural openness (working with International Factories)

  • Ability to converse well on technical basis

  • Comfort in dealing with high-profile projects and clients

Responsible for improving company profitability through product specification, new market/product development, channel/service enhancements, and direct sales growth for the Sign & Shade Solutions division of the Company. Drive product line plans, business development, and sales strategies for the Business Unit.  Role requires the ability to cross-functionally collaborate with teams and pull-analyze financial/market/competitive data with ease.  Position is critical to achieving overall business growth goals for the Company and will work intimately with New Product Development and Sourcing Teams to achieve those goals.  As a key member of the Sales Leadership Team, incumbent represents Company in a manner that furthers the Company’s market leadership position/purpose/mission/values – internally/externally.



  • Responsible for the P&L and growth of the Company’s Sign & Shade Solutions Division

  • Provide input to the EVP/GM, Sales, Customer Service to effectively set the short, medium, and long-term goals/objectives for the Division and provide timely analysis as required against set goals/objectives

  • Execute on business and product line plans to maximize profitable sales of existing products and drive the development of new products for penetration into new markets at the highest level of design/advertising firms, end-users, and corporate brand-owners



  • BS/MS in Business related field, with previous experience in the Sign & Shade industry preferred

  • 7-10 years in direct sales, business development, distribution/channel management, national sign specification, and/or corporate ID management

  • Proven record of achievement negotiating/closing/growing profitable sales and cementing partnerships at the C-Suite level

  • Excellent financial, analytical, listening and communication skills coupled with the ability to excel in a Team-of-Teams work environment

  • Detailed oriented and organized with a strong work ethic, sense of urgency and accountability

  • Travel required

  • PC proficiency

As Technical Field Representative, you will be responsible for demonstrating/creating “pull-through” demand for Company gypsum products via demonstrations, trials, and promotion of all joint treatments, corner products, and wallboard to applicators and dealers.



  • Operate in a safe and environmentally conscious manner

  • Implement strategy consistent with the Sales and Marketing plan

  • Actively target/track construction projects, finishers, and contractors in association with the Gypsum Region and Territory Managers to highlight key targets in the Region for the possibility of conversion

  • Provide store service, display installation/maintenance, training, customer shows, finisher/DIY demonstrations, and any other activity which would promote Company products at the mass merchant/chain/co-op/lumber dealer segments

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager SW

  • Primarily travel by company car approximately 80% of the time. Up to 50% overnight travel.  Occasional air travel

  • NORTHWEST REGION: Company prefers someone base in the Seattle/Portland area.  Territory covers approximately 3 hours in various directions to include WA, OR, ID, and western WY/MT.

  • MIDWEST REGION:  Company prefers someone based in the St.Louis/Kansas City 



  • BS Degree or equivalent training and experience providing knowledge of the regulations/practices/procedures concerned with outside sales activities for the construction industry

  • OSHA 30 Certificate or readiness to complete as part of onboarding requirement

  • 1-3+ years of related experience in applying this knowledge in daily sales activities such as managing customer relationships, sales presentations, and the closing of sales

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills are required. Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking

  • Negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and presentation skills are a must

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) also required

  • Proficiency in Spanish or willing to take accelerated Spanish course preferred
