Innovative designer and manufacturer of polyurethane polymers and compounded finishing materials, is seeking a professional and energetic EHS Manager for its Lynn, Massachusetts manufacturing facility.



  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state & local safety and environmental regulations

  • Drive continuous improvement of all EH&S initiatives including management, supervision and operator training

  • Manage all safety initiatives, in-house or with a third-party consultant, including Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Line Breaking, Hot Work Permit, Safe Work Permit, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Personnel Protective Equipment, Contractor Safety, Safety Eyewash/Showers, Asbestos Insulation, Incident Investigations, Safety Committee, Emergency Planning & Response, Hazard Communication, MSDS/SDS, Global Harmonization, Flammable Storage Permits, Fire Suppression Systems, First Aid, Homeland Security, Industrial Hygiene

  • Manage all environmental initiatives, in-house or with a third-party consultant, including Air Source Registration, Toxic Use Reduction Plan, Wastewater Discharge Permits & Sampling, Massachusetts Contingency Plan, Tier II Report, Spill Response Plan, Hazardous/Non-Hazardous/Universal Waste, and Hazwoper

  • Take the lead on Process Safety Management (PSM) and Process Hazard Analysis’ (PHA)

  • Ensure site compliance with OSHA, RCRA, EPA, and DOT

  • Proficient at building/delivering employee training sessions & Incident Management / Investigation

  • Experience developing, leading and training others in emergency response

  • Develop and maintain written environmental, health and safety Operating Procedures



  • Energetic with the will/ability to establish schedules, driving projects and initiatives to completion

  • Working knowledge of PMI methodologies. PMP Certification a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety & Health or related field

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as an EH&S professional preferably in a chemical PSM facility

  • Team player who works well with management, supervisors and operators, regulatory agencies and vendors

  • Working knowledge of CMMS
