Leading coated products manufacturer of pressure-sensitive label stock, consisting of 3 manufacturing plants and 4 slitting and distribution centers across the U.S., has this immediate need for an experienced Quality Manager based in its Green Bay, WI headquarters!


The Company is privately owned, vertically integrated, employs over 4,200 team members and operates 41 facilities in 17 states.



The Quality Manager leads the development of the quality team members; develops, implements, and maintains effective quality control processes and standards to ensure customer product requirements are met; and continuously improves quality processes to reduce waste due to non-conformances.



  • Review/improve the quality assurance program in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations

  • Lead the Quality team, including Engineer, Analyst and 12-16 Technicians, including setting expectations and providing performance feedback

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with:  R&D/Technical Service Engineers to understand customer requirements and ensure they are being met by established quality standards; Procurement to ensure raw materials from external suppliers meet quality requirements; Operations to proactively identify/resolve issues impacting product quality

  • Lead internal training on quality standards and expectations

  • Perform statistical analysis to drive decisions and priorities

  • Lead problem-solving using Root Cause Corrective Action methodology

  • Perform internal quality audits, monitor data trends, identify ways to reduce risk, increase efficiency, and improve existing quality processes

  • Maintain/control documentation and data, including completion of customer quality surveys

  • Maintain a safe work environment

  • Travel to customers and suppliers as needed to gain first-hand knowledge (10%)


The Quality Manager reports directly to the Technical Director



  • BS in Quality, Engineering or Science

  • 5+ years in a leadership position with direct reporting relationships

  • Working knowledge of statistical methods. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes. Background in labels/ packaging preferred

  • In-depth understanding of quality control procedures. Familiarity with ISO9001 certification is a plus

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, development, and conflict resolution skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with a variety of team members at all levels of the organization and build relationships through trust and teamwork

  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills quickly and effectively

  • Attention to detail, time management, and prioritization necessary to coordinate a variety of responsibilities

Quality Manager-Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Labels





Defense/Aerospace industry leader in the design and manufacture of engineered solutions for the control of shock and vibration has this immediate need!


Position is for a self-motivated/innovative/experienced Engineer with proven skills and prior experience working in the rubber industry. Will be a member of the site's continuous improvement manufacturing engineering team which impacts the total business. Responsible for management of process development and industrialization for products/processes. Experienced in process development and control, product development and implementation, program management, lean practices, tool, and machinery design/build.


  • Process development and industrialization of products

  • Tooling management: maintenance, reparation, improvement

  • Process improvement: variance tracking, waste elimination, poka-yoke, scrap reduction. Manufacturing Excellence and Process Improvement using Process Control discipline to reduce Process Variation (Process Maps, Lean tools, Short Loop, 6M Sources of Variation, Fishbone, and improvement-focusing tools)

  • Collaborate and support manufacturing process improvements within the area of responsibility

  • Assist with leading weekly improvement meetings focused on safety, quality, and productivity

  • Troubleshoot production issues escalated from supervision

  • Implement temporary and permanent countermeasures to address the root cause

  • Design and manufacture internally unique improvement solutions (i.e., Jigs, fixtures, tools, etc.)

  • Track improvement savings within the area of responsibility on a weekly/monthly basis

  • Develop A3 justifications for small capital improvement projects

  • Develop/execute all required process change documentation to include safety, quality, and production for implemented projects

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, drafting, and materials to make process improvements

  • Participate as an active member in Safety and Quality problem-solving teams

  • Participate in Kaizen teams and other Lean initiatives to improve business metrics



  • BS/MS in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.  10+ years of production or manufacturing/process engineering experience preferably in the rubber industry. U.S. Citizenship Required per ITAR

  • Experience in adhesives/application of adhesives to metals used in rubber to metal molding

  • Proven program management/leadership history, with the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Knowledge of rubber processing, rubber to metal molding engineering experience is desired, tooling design, lean manufacturing, equipment design, and assembly engineering

  • Experience working in an ISO/IATF/AS environment

  • SPC expert, action-oriented, exceptional communications skills

Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer - Defense/Aerospace





Company is seeking a talented engineer to join as a Sr. Process R&D Engineer in the Advanced Carbons team. Our product is a best-in-class conductive carbon nanomaterial, that has a range of applications including plastic composites and batteries. Carbon Nanostructures (CNS) are produced in a unique roll-to-roll process with significant opportunity for innovative technology development to improve production efficiency and scale up, increase sustainability, and new product development.


This role will support commissioning and initial operations of new production facilities.  This person will contribute to the process development and scale-up of a novel best-in-class nanomaterial, utilizing their positive, innovative, hands-on, energetic, and motivated engineering experience, and passion for working with a diverse team of colleagues to advance new technology.


In this role, you will be an independent process engineer responsible for development of next generation process technology for enhanced productivity and product quality as well as enhancing the sustainability profile of the production process. You will work with our operations and product/process development teams to lead projects of moderate to high complexity/scope. As the business grows, you will pick up increasing responsibilities around the expansion and start-up of new production facilities working with our global engineering and manufacturing teams.


This is a brand new position, the team is expanding and looking for additional support. It is working within the advanced carbons group. This person will be working and managing projects related to process development. Ideally, the Team is looking to strengthen its mechanical experience versus chemical. This role is definitely considered a hands-on role, as this person is not just running plant trials they will be working with process technicians and cross functionally with many others. There is some element of supervisory experience with this position, but previous exp is not required. Labview experience is a valued plus, as that is the system used to run our equipment. Any experience in AutoCAD is quite helpful as well. Chemical Engineering degree is a must, again, with a very strong mechanical aptitude and experience.


  • Conduct independent research to understand/deliver solutions to technical/commercial problems in equipment or process design and research investigations. Set hypotheses and devise technical approaches to complex problems. Employ thorough scientific approach, including understanding of literature, mechanistic thinking, hypothesis setting, experimentation, analysis, and reporting

  • Support existing/future operations by participating in troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts

  • Develop new process equipment and work with various vendors and service providers to advance research on increasing capital efficiency and productivity of operations. Contribute to the design of novel parts and assemblies to facilitate development of equipment and machines

  • Plan/schedule/conduct, or and coordinate detailed phases of projects of varying scopes to safely meet objectives and timelines.  Generate data, conduct advanced statistical analysis, and organize and interpret data to establish and support new process, materials, and/or application learning. Conduct tests, draw conclusions, advance hypotheses, and make recommendations



  • Post-secondary degree (Bachelor’s/University) in Chemical Engineering and generally 10+ years of related experience, Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and generally 6+ years of related experience, OR Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering generally with 4+ years related experience (Ph.D. highly preferred)

  • Process engineering and scale up experience, preferably in the areas of high temperature reaction engineering, catalytic processes, fluidized bed, or chemical vapor deposition technologies. Experience with pilot/commercial scale equipment and/or continuous fiber management processes is of value

  • Technical Excellence.  Advanced knowledge/understanding in chemical engineering. Knowledge of instruments and controls and programming. Familiar with mechanical equipment and their operation. Experience with Labview, CAD and mechanical design a plus

  • Ability to connect between scientific disciplines. Ability to independently execute in a manner that is aligned with IP and business strategies.  Ability to synthesize and document experimental results in written reports to capture knowledge

  • Knowledge and effectiveness in the critical aspects of project management

  • Communication & Presentation Skills. Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications
